About me
I'm an architect, graduated in 1993 from Lund University, Sweden. 40 years of age, I've had 14 years working in the professional field prior to reentering the academy in 2007 as PhD candidate in Design Methodology. My experience from the industrialized house-building sector as project architect and cad-coordinator made me interested in developing the knowledge of design methodology further in this context. I then try to take on the challenge of combining industrialization with architectural design. This deals with the same objectives as customization and how we meet customer expectations on the building, both in a short time and a long-run perspective.
As PhD candidate I'm an employee of the Department of Design Methodology, Building Sciences at Lund University, Lund. The PhD project is a part of the research platform Lean Wood Engineering, jointly funded through Vinnova, some Swedish universities and the Swedish timber industry.
