Short presentation

I'm an industrial P.h.d. student located at Volvo Aero Corporation in Trollhättan. In the year of 2001, I earned a master of science in computer aided design at the University of Luleå, Sweden with a thesis work conducted at Volvo Aero in Trollhättan. I then joined Volvo Aero as a trainee before I was positioned as a development engineer at the department of advanced engineering. In 2007 the DLP-E, Digitally Linked manufacturing Process with a focus on Experience reuse, program started and I joined as a Phd student. I’m also a member of the department of Functional Product Development within the FASTE laboratory at the University of Technology in Luleå, Sweden. My research question; “How can experience from manufacturing processes be tied and reused to impact the definition of governing product and process definition?”

My project: A parametric cad approach to enable reuse of manufacturing experience
